Read on for the main results of the day…
Women’s Pro
The Women’s Pro was won by Sally Thompson in a time of 01:10:44.
Second was 早紀 前川 in 01:11:41.
Third place was taken by Yoshida Aki in a time of 01:12:13.
Men’s Pro
The Men’s Pro was won by Rylan Schadegg in a time of 01:03:26. Rylan has also recently raced in Delhi and Hong Kong, as he looks to book his place back in the Elite 15 (he is currently in the 21st qualifying position at the time of writing). It had looked during this race as if Rylan was on for a particularly fast time, but some issues on his last few runs meant that this finishing time was far from his best, despite still managing to take the overall win. Listen to our Rox Lyfe podcast episode with him here where he discusses his journey through health challenges and his comeback to the Elite 15 last season.
Second was Ben Smith in 01:03:27, and third place was taken by Abbas Nazari in a time of 01:03:34. Abbas represented New Zealand in the Elite Relay at the 2024 World Championships.
Pro Doubles
The Men’s Pro Doubles was won by Hong Beomseok (Korea relay captain at the 2024 World Championships) and Kitae Nam in a time of 00:55:12.
The Women’s Pro Doubles was won by Michiko Sato and Rieko Trees in a time of 01:10:57.
