HYROX returned to Dubai on 11th February 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. It was the second ever HYROX event held in Dubai, and there was a significant increase in competitors compared to the debut event, with approximately 4000 competing on the day.

Women’s Pro
A very fast Women’s Pro saw UK athletes take the podium spots. First was Jade Skillen in a time of 01:02:36, and closely behind her was Jess Towl in 01:03:17 (click here for our interview with her). Third place was taken by Emily Webb in a time of 01:04:52.
These times put Jade and Emily into 12th and 13th places in the Major Qualification Rankings. Emily, at the time of writing, is in 24th place. The times are roughly 4 minute PB’s for all three athletes.
Men’s Pro
The Men’s Pro was won by Mohamed Ali Mrabet in a time of 00:58:58.
Second was Sebastian Ifversen in 00:59:34.
Third place was taken by Michael Logue in a time of 01:00:17.
Pro Doubles
The Men’s Pro Doubles was won by Ruslan Brut and Nicolas Francois in a time of 00:57:14.
The Women’s Pro Doubles was won by Veronika Kissova and Johren Dela Rosa in a time of 01:21:20.
Women’s Open
The Women’s Open was won by Roisin Egan in a time of 01:03:33.
Second was Alena Astafeva, not far behind in 01:03:55.
Third place was taken by Evie Hodgkin in a time of 01:07:25.
Men’s Open
The Men’s Open was won by Sean Clancy in a time of 00:59:30.
Second was Karim Hegazy in 01:00:41.
Third place was taken by Fred Durnford in a time of 01:01:43.
Open Doubles
The Men’s Open Doubles was won by Stephen Pendergrast and Scott Johnson in a time of 00:53:08.
The Women’s Open Doubles was won by Hannah Davies and Kelly-Lei Lowry in a time of 01:02:31.
The Mixed Open Doubles was won by Mohamed Aly and Stef Weston in a time of 00:57:46.
