Kyle Schoonbee and Danél Louw were the standout performers at HYROX Cape Town, with both South Africans claiming two victories across the weekend.
Former Olympic rower Schoonbee won the Men’s Pro before teaming up with Dylan Pienaar to win Men’s Pro Doubles, while Louw won Women’s Pro before adding the Women’s Pro Doubles title alongside Juan-Marié Herbst.
The event took place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 14-16 August 2026.

Men’s Pro
The Men’s Pro was won by former Olympic rower Kyle Schoonbee in a personal best time of 56:10. Schoonbee produced an incredibly consistent performance, recording the fastest overall workout time and Roxzone time of the 178 finishers, alongside the second-fastest running time.
He ranked inside the top three on every individual workout station, including, unsurprisingly, the fastest Row of the day in 3:47.
Dylan Pienaar finished second in 57:35, with Wesley Henning taking third in 59:08.
Women’s Pro
Danél Louw dominated the Women’s Pro division, winning in 1:00:57. She recorded the fastest overall running time and was also fastest on six of the eight workout stations.
Robyn Miller finished second in 1:05:15, with Juan-Marié Herbst taking third in 1:07:10.
Pro Doubles
The Men’s Pro Doubles was won by Dylan Pienaar and Kyle Schoonbee in a time of 00:50:35.
The Women’s Pro Doubles was won by Danél Louw and Juan-Marie Herbst in a time of 00:57:11.
