HYROX went to Boston for the first time, with an event held on 26th – 28th September 2025 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, with over 12,000 competitors across the 3 days.
This was the opening US event of the 25/26 HYROX season, and participation in U.S. HYROX events has surged by more than 300% year-over-year, underlining the sport’s rising momentum nationwide.
Douglas Gremmen, Chief Growth Officer at HYROX commented: “Boston has long been a cornerstone of American sport, with a legacy that aligns perfectly with HYROX’s vision. As we accelerate our expansion across the US, launching the US 2025/ 26 season here was a strategic decision driven by both demand and opportunity. The East Coast, and Boston in particular, has shown incredible enthusiasm for the sport, making it an ideal market for us to build upon. We are focused on deepening our footprint across the US as we move into this next phase of growth. We’re excited to build on that energy and bring the HYROX experience to even more communities this season.”
