HYROX went to Mexico for the first time on 20th April 2024 at the Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City.  The city sits at approximately 2200 meters altitude (which can make exercise much harder) and will have almost certainly impacted finishing times when compared to other (lower!) HYROX events.

Women’s Pro

The Women’s Pro was won by Hannah Cook in a time of 01:17:21.

Second was Berenice Betsabe Barrera Pacheco in 01:20:49.

Third place was taken by Barbara Carolina Reyes Perez in a time of 01:21:33.

Men’s Pro

The Men’s Pro was won by Aldo Lozano Marquez in a time of 01:07:05.

Second was Huge Hugo in 01:08:20.

Third place was taken by Eugenio Godínez Romero in a time of 01:12:02.

Women’s Open

The Women’s Open was won by Karen Vanessa Lara Castro in a time of 01:16:20.

Second was Alexia Andrade Mondaca in 01:19:44.

Third place was taken by Karime Arróniz in a time of 01:20:42.

Men’s Open

The Men’s Open was won by Christian Scherf Islas in a time of 01:13:10.

Second was Abisai Reyes Sánchez in 01:13:57.

Third place was taken by Marcos Guerra in a time of 01:14:16.

Open Doubles

The Men’s Open Doubles was won by Gerardo I. Villalobos and Hugo Carpio in a time of 01:01:16.

The Women’s Open Doubles was won by Alejandra Castellanos and Michelle Alcántar in a time of 01:12:15.

The Mixed Open Doubles was won by Valeria Díaz García and Luis Adrian Lozoya Velasco in a time of 01:12:06.
