HYROX returned to Maastricht on 1st and 2nd February 2025 at the MECC Maastricht, Netherlands.
There were a number of impressive times across the board on what appears to have been a relatively fast course.
The main results of the day were as follows…
Women’s Pro
The Women’s Pro was won by Margot Vandenlindenloof in a time of 01:01:37 – a very impressive time on her Pro race debut from the athlete who we typically see racing doubles with her sister. This time however puts her well in contention for Elite 15 qualification (should she race again as the average of your best 2 times are needed to qualify).
Second was Emilie Dahmen in 01:03:05
Third place was taken by Kim Evers in a time of 01:03:21
Men’s Pro
The Men’s Pro was won by Tomas Tvrdik in a time of 00:56:12
Second was Afan Humphries in 00:56:20
Third place was taken by Louis Osselaer in a time of 00:57:03
Pro Doubles
The Men’s Pro Doubles was won by Tom Franssens and Pieter Maes in a time of 00:52:37.
The Women’s Pro Doubles was won by Marie Doumayrou and Melanie Carreira in a time of 01:02:48
World Records
Huge congratulations to the following athletes who all achieved World Record times in Maastricht:
Mixed Doubles:
50-59 – Martina Goerz and Stefan Eichhorn – 01:00:47 (though this record was beaten later in the day in Las Vegas!).
