The latest HYROX Rotterdam event was a 2 day event held on 6th and 7th April 2024 at the Rotterdam Ahoy. It was the third, and final, HYROX Netherlands event of the 23/24 season.

Men’s Pro

The Men’s Pro was won by Maarten Enthoven.  He led for much of the race and finished in an impressive time of 01:00:19.

Second was Jannick Plantinga in 01:02:51.

Third place was taken by Reynaldo Latinne in a time of 01:05:41.

Women’s Pro

The Women’s Pro was won by Candian Kayti Simonson in a time of 01:09:46.

A very close second was Merel Klifman in 01:09:52.

Third place was taken by Linda De Jong-De Boer in a time of 01:13:08.

Pro Doubles

The Men’s Pro Doubles was won by Hidde Weersma and Thierry Willigenburg in a time of 00:52:43. You can catch our chat with Hidde about the upcoming last chance qualifiers in Cologne here.

The Women’s Pro Doubles was won by Charlotte Vandenlindenloof and Margot Vandenlindenloof in a time of 01:02:48 (they later went on to take the mixed relay world record – see more on that below).

Men’s Open

The Men’s Open was won by Charlie Botterill in a time of 00:59:34.

Second was Cem Ter Burg in 01:00:31, with Kees Aardenburg in third with exactly the same time!

Women’s Open

The Women’s Open was won by Brit Lucy Procter in a time of 01:01:09, giving her the 16-24 Age Group World Record.

Second was Karlijn Lakerveld in 01:05:54.

Third place was taken by Agnes Ricatto in a time of 01:06:22.

Kristjana Gunnarsdottir took the 50-54 age group world record in a time of 01:08:33.

 

Open Doubles

The Men’s Open Doubles was won by Louis Osselaer and Kwinten Verstuyft in a time of 00:52:20.

The Women’s Open Doubles was won by Melanie Jopp and Stacey Horner in a time of 01:03:35.

The Mixed Open Doubles was won by Marcel Beishuizen and Larissa Van Meerten in a time of 00:57:55.

Relay

A notable mention goes to Margot Vandenlindenloof, Tom Franssens, Charlotte Vandenlindenloof and Pieter Maes who took the Mixed Doubles World Record in 00:51:33.

Could this be Team Belgium for the HYROX Mixed Relay World Championships in Nice? If so, they won’t be easy to beat!
