The first ever HYROX Perth event was held on 14th September 2024 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Read on for the main results of the day…

Women’s Pro

The Women’s Pro was won by Joanna Wietrzyk in an incredible time of 01:00:46 – breaking her own 16-24 Age Group World Record from Brisbane. This also improves Joanna’s Major Qualifying times to put her 6th overall – and the fastest of the time-based qualifiers – sealing her spot for the Amsterdam Major in October 2024.

Second was Jess Pettrow in 01:04:25.

Third place was taken by Trychelle Wright in a time of 01:06:31.

Men’s Pro

The Men’s Pro was won by Tom Rodgers in a time of 00:58:37.  It’s been a strong season already for Tom, and this performance, combined with his time of 58:18 in Brisbane just a few weeks ago, has put him in contention for an Elite 15 place should spaces rolldown (he currently sits in 23rd position).

Second was Dexter Buchanan in 00:58:53. This was only his 3rd ever HYROX, and is the first time he’s broken the 60minute barrier.

Third place was taken by Lawrence Cartwright in a time of 01:01:16.

Pro Doubles

The Men’s Pro Doubles was won by Kosta Ilic and Regan Burley in a time of 01:02:55.
