The latest HYROX Barcelona event was held on 18th November 2023 at the Fira Barcelona.

Noteable athletes racing on the day included Kate Davey (fresh from her 11th place Elite 15 in Chicago the previous weekend), Jezabel Kremer and Ida Mathilde Steensgaard.  Read on for all the news, results and pictures from the day… 

Women’s Pro

A very close Women’s Pro race was won by Kate Davey in a time of 01:07:34.  Shortly behind was Jasmin Wonik in second, finishing in 01:07:49.  Third place was taken by Jezabel Kremer in 01:07:55.

Men’s Pro

The Men’s Pro was won by Harry Thompson in a time of 01:00:21.

Second was Sadiq Elfitouri in 01:01:07, closely followed by Eugenio Bianchi in 01:01:37.

Men’s Open

Fastest in the Men’s Open was Lee Tuck in a time of 00:57:09, closely followed by Thomas Fry in 00:57:36.

Third place was taken by Diego Caballero Nistal in a time of 00:59:41.

Women’s Open

Fastest in the Women’s Open race was won by Aoife Fay in a time of 01:07:07, closely followed by Victoria Cartmell in 01:07:37.

Third place was taken by Oihane Salcedo González in a time of 01:08:34.

Doubles

The fastest Men’s Doubles time was set by Tiago Costa and Bruno Ferreira in a time of 00:51:41.

The Women’s Doubles was won by Marina González Burgos and Yessica Izquierdo Rodríguez in a time of 01:00:58.

The Mixed Doubles was won by in a time of Daniela Couto and Tiago Lousa in a time of 00:56:20.

A special mention goes to Juan Fernando Martínez Valero and María Pilar Serna Urnicia, who broke the Mixed Doubles 60-69 Age Group World Record in an incredible time of 01:13:03.
