HYROX Brisbane

The next HYROX Brisbane event will be held on 9-13th April 2026 at the Brisbane Convention Centre, Merivale St, South Brisbane QLD 4101.

Please read the important information below on the date splits of the event to ensure that you are eligible to race and sign up for the correct event.

This will be the ‘normal’ Brisbane – with no passport eligibility required.

Please note that Thursday, Friday and Monday will run as normal event days, with the last wave at 8:30 PM on Thursday, 4:00 PM on Friday and 8:20PM.

Saturday and Sunday will have the Regional Championship in the first half of the day, followed by the normal event in the afternoon. The last wave on Saturday will be at 4:00 PM, and on Sunday at 8:30 PM.

Elite 15 will take place on Friday at 7:30 PM, and Elite 15 Pro Doubles will take place on Saturday at 7:30 PM. Please plan accordingly.

11th-12th April

This will be the HYROX Asia Pacific (APAC) Regional Championships which is an open entry event – no qualification is required, however you must hold a passport from the APAC region to race (see HYROX rulebooks for more information). This is also the only opportunity for Americas participants to qualify for the World Championships using Open weights rather than Pro.

The weekend will also feature Elite 15 Major races which will be live streamed – once again with Rox Lyfe’s Greg on the commentary team.

2024/25 Event Review

HYROX went to Brisbane for a 2nd time in the 2024/25 season on 1st-2nd March 2025. The event was held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, and was the biggest HYROX Australia event yet!

Many big names in the sport competed – including World Record holder Hunter McIntyre (who raced in Pro, and mixed doubles with the brilliant Joanna Wietrzyk), CrossFitter Ricky Garard, previous Rox Lyfe podcast guests, and CrossFit legends, Tia Clair Toomey and James Newbury, Jane Erbacher, Chris Woolley, and many many more!
