The first HYROX event of the 2024/25 HYROX season was held in Melbourne on 29th and 30th June 2024 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Men’s Pro
The Men’s Pro was won by Tanguy Cruz in a time of 00:58:23.
Second was Matt Slee in 00:59:34.
Third place was taken by Chris Woolley in a time of 01:02:01.
Women’s Pro
The Women’s Pro was won by Lauren Max in a time of 01:09:25.
Second was Stephanie Wighton in 01:09:57.
Third place was taken by Talitha Scholtz in a time of 01:10:17.
Men’s Open
The Men’s Open was won by Peter Smith in a time of 00:59:46.
Second was Lachlan Clancy in 01:01:40.
Third place was taken by Elliot Terry-Fagan in a time of 01:02:27.
Women’s Open
The Women’s Open was won by Joanna Wietrzyk in a time of 01:00:30 – a fantastic 16-24 Age Group World Record!
Second was Meg Martin in 01:03:32 (check out the Rox Lyfe podcast for a great chat with her coming very soon!).
Third place was taken by Ivy Ozimek in a time of 01:04:57.
Pro Doubles
The Men’s Pro Doubles was won by Will Martin and Nikola Sovljanski in a time of 00:53:31.
The Women’s Pro Doubles was won by Sienna Casanelia and Bree Garreffa in a time of 01:10:14.
Open Doubles
The Men’s Open Doubles was won by Matteo Valentini and Edward Womersley in a time of 00:53:12.
The Women’s Open Doubles was won by Claire McCowan and Zoe O’Meara in a time of 01:03:09.
The Mixed Open Doubles was won by Montana Farrah-Seaton and Dean Clarke in a time of 00:58:08.
