HYROX run a gym partner programme. This is where gyms can become HYROX affiliated and hold exclusive rights to host HYROX classes, training sessions, and specialised programming (amongst other things). HYROX say that it provides gyms the tools, services and benefits to help integrate HYROX successfully into their programming and help grow the business, 365 days a year, through lead generation, member retention and HYROX partner promotions.
There are over 2,500 affiliated gyms worldwide, and this number is increasing rapidly. To find a HYROX gym near you click here.
We wanted to find out more about the potential benefits and costs of the partner programme, so questioned Frank Valencia, the Head of Sport and Licensing for HYROX UK & Ireland, to find out more…Â
1. What do I get by becoming a HYROX gym partner?
- Brand Association Rights: The ability to associate with the HYROX brand name and use it to name group classes, create HYROX community challenges & competitions, and sell HYROX Programming.
- Access to the Education & Programming Platform: About to be launched as a B2B App Solution, a digital platform for gyms and trainers to help program HYROX Group Workouts and provide the relevant video coaching cues to structure classes depending on equipment availability and class size but also to help scale the workouts according to ability.
- Training Academy: Learn everything you need to know about HYROX and its beginnings, to the race rules and tips on preparing your clients. The Academy will also focus on Group Training and 1 to 1 training to provide a solid basis to roll out dedicated HYROX programming across all your locations.
- HYROX Event Benefits: With HYROX events selling out rapidly, your members will receive 24h exclusive pre-release access and Partner discounts.
- Visibility: On our gym finder and shout-outs on our Instagram UK account
- Marketing: Access to HYROX marketing material, pictures and videos.
2. What is the process for becoming a HYROX gym partner?
Go to our HYROX website and fill in the become a partner gym form. Or contact me at Frank@hyrox.com
3. Are there any equipment requirements?
There are no equipment requirements. However, we do recommend gyms have skiers / rowers and kettlebells as well as include running on their members training. This is for their members to have the best experience possible at HYROX! There is nothing better than participants being familiar with all the machines and movements before taking part in the event.
4. Are there any other requirements to being accepted?
Need to have a suitable space to host HYROX classes.
5. What are the costs involved?
The cost is £999 + VAT per location annually; there are monthly and quarterly options.
Monthly, quarterly or annual payments depend on whether you are VAT registered or not; please see the prices below.
monthly: £90 VAT registered, £107,10 not VAT registered
quarterly: £270 VAT registered, £321,30 not VAT registered
Annually: 999 VAT registered, £1180 not VAT registered
Know that monthly and quarterly payments have a 10% increment compared to the annual fee.
6. Do costs vary depending on size of location?
No, the cost is per site, annually, no matter the size of the gym.
7. Can there be more than one gym partner in my town / area?
Yes. HYROX believes in an open model, where it should be available to everyone in every gym. Very similar to how Les Mills work or other entities.
8. Do I need to own a gym? For example, could a bootcamp become a gym partner?
Bootcamps can become a gym partner; they just need to have a main site where they operate from as well as a website/Instagram account for contact purposes, should the community want to train with them.
9. Is my gym allowed to use HYROX naming or branding in our marketing if we aren’t gym partners? If not, do you actively work to prevent non-partner gyms from doing so?
No one is allowed to use the HYROX name and brand without the right affiliation. Our IPtheft team at HYROX are constantly monitoring this, as well as our community, to make this fair for everyone. If you see someone using the name or brand without the right affiliation permit, please report them at IP.theft@hyrox.com
10. Are you able to share any good examples of gyms who have demonstrated a financial (or otherwise) benefit of becoming a gym partner?
We have several gyms that have benefit from this massively, just to name a few you have ETC training centre in Northampton, F45 Cambridge in Cambridge, Forders gym in Birmingham and so many more.
11. Can I become a HYROX gym partner if I am already a CrossFit affiliate?
Yes. You can, we have several CrossFit affiliates that are also HYROX affiliates. Please check our gym finder to find all the CF gyms we have.

What marketing do you send to the gyms that get affiliated
Or do we have to print all r own stuff
Eg flags and banners
Hey. Sorry, I’m not sure what HYROX actually send out – that’s something you’d need to discuss with them directly (we aren’t currently part of HYROX themselves, just a site dedicated to the sport!).
