Vienna hosted the first Austrian HYROX event of the 2022/23 season on 26th February 2023 at the Reed Messe Wien.

Men’s Pro
The main story of the event was in the Men’s Pro race where Alexander Roncevic won in a time of 56:13 – the fastest time of the season so far (beating Ryan Kent who had set the fastest time of the season just 24 hours beforehand, in Houston). This is the second fasest time ever (shortly behind Hunter McIntyre’s world record of 55:09m)Â
Second in the race was Ivan Pranjic, in 01:02:54. Third was Steffen Blekkan, in 01:03:26.

Women’s Pro
The Women’s Pro race was won by Mirjam Von Rohr in a time of 01:03:32, on what was her 21st birthday. She beat Anne Stellaard, who was second in 01:09:51. Third was Charlotte Rowe Jones in 01:19:53.
Men’s Open
Fastest in the Men’s Open was Christopher Von Stelzer 00:57:47. Second was Tomáš Stejskal in 00:59:39, and 3rd was Markus Pütz in 01:00:37.
Women’s Open
Fastest in the Women’s Open race was Dr Alice Schürer in 01:08:10. Second was Martina Görz in 01:10:59, and 3rd was Mica Framvig in 01:12:35.
Doubles
The fastest Mixed Doubles pairing were Rafael Bouts and Hana Hasanbegovic in 00:59:41.
The Men’s Doubles was won by Lasse Pips and Rene Groinig in 00:52:59.Â
The Women’s Doubles was won by Allana Falconer and Carla Dilley in 01:01:52.
