The latest HYROX Sydney was a huge 3-day event held from 4th – 6th July 2025 at the Sydney Showground. It was the second event of the 2025/26 HYROX season.

Read on for the main results of the weekend…

Men’s Pro

Josh Van Zeeland took the win in the Men’s Pro division with a time of 55:20 — his first overall HYROX victory. The 27-year-old, who comes from a rugby background and now has his sights firmly set on HYROX, looks like a name to watch for the future. That time puts him in strong contention for Elite 15 qualification, especially if he can back it up with a similar result soon. (Elite 15 spots are based on the average of an athlete’s two fastest Pro times within a rolling 365-day window.)

Women’s Pro

The Women’s Pro was won by Calypso Sheridan in a time of 01:02:48.

Pro Doubles

The Men’s Pro Doubles was won by James Newbury (click the link to check out our Rox Lyfe podcast interview with him) and Dene Flude in a time of 00:55:08.

The Women’s Pro Doubles was won by Jacqueline Clarke and Madeleine Clarke in a time of 00:59:36.

All other results can be found on the HYROX website.

Other Australia/NZ events are held in Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland and Perth.
