Men’s Pro Doubles
A stacked Men’s Pro Doubles line-up included some big names from the sport racing together – such as Tim Wenisch/Jannik Czapla; Graham Halliday/Jon Wynn; Beau Wills/Eugenio Bianchi; Lukas Storath/Tiago Lousa; Alan Cao/Thomas Fry; Hidde Weersma/Thierry Willenburg; Jake Williamson/Aaron Travers and many more!
Most of these raced in the first wave which set off at an electric pace, with Beau/Eugenio coming out on top, followed by Tim/Jannik than Hidde/Thierry. However a later wave saw Roberto Viciedo Gimeno and Luis Garcia Rubio come through in a time of 00:50:29 – taking the overall win by 2 seconds! There was therefore heartbreak for Alan/Thomas who finished 4th (00:50:55) and Hidde/Thierry who slipped down to 5th (00:50:56).
The final results were:
1. Roberto Viciedo Gimeno and Luis Garcia Rubio – 00:50:27
2. Beau Wills and Eugenio Bianchi – 00:50:29
3. Jannik Czapla and Tim Wenisch – 00:50:42
