Three-time World Champion Lauren Weeks of the USA claimed the Women’s Pro win at HYROX Acapulco in her opening race of the 26/27 season.

In the Men’s Pro race, Canada’s Ryan Douglas – the current 25-29 Age Group World Champion and fastest age grouper at the 2026 HYROX World Championships in Stockholm – took top spot with a winning time of 01:00:59.

The HYROX Acapulco event was held on 5th-6th September 2026 at Expo Mundo Imperial.

Women’s Pro

Lauren Weeks dominated the Women’s Pro race, winning in 58:47 and finishing more than nine minutes clear of the rest of the field.

Dinorah Garza Treviño took second in 1:08:05, with Bianca Sierra finishing third in 1:08:28.

Men’s Pro

Ryan Douglas claimed the Men’s Pro title in 1:00:59, finishing 1:26 ahead of Axel López Aguilar, who took second in 1:02:25.

Johan Sébastien Michel Marcel Morin completed the podium in 1:02:42.

Pro Doubles

The Women’s Pro Doubles was won by Briana Carbonell and Brittany McCall in a time of 1:01:36.

The Men’s Pro Doubles was won by Mario Habib Fierro Elias and Aldo Lozano Márquez in a time of 54:12.
